Will tomorrow’s jobs report show a slowdown in hiring? The White House might actually hope so. We’re expecting 300,000 jobs to be added in August. But with raging inflation, a weaker pace of hiring helps moderate wage increases and shows inflation may be easing a bit.
The Dow gained 145 points to close at 31,656.
The S&P was up 11
The Nasdaq fell on the day, losing 31 points.

You’ll soon be able to edit your tweets. Finally. But there’s a catch. Later this month, “Twitter blue” users – who pay $5/month – can undo a tweet before it’s seen by everyone. They also won’t see in-feed ads. But you’ll only have 30 minutes after posting to make any changes.

Disney is reportedly exploring a membership program like Amazon Prime. No idea of pricing just yet. But imagine exclusive perks, discounts, and other goodies for your cash – while Disney collects your info and can sell it. Again, very early stages, but Disney confirms it’s looking into it.

Gatorade is “jumping” into the caffeine market. This new drink is called Fast Twitch. It contains 200 milligrams of caffeine, about twice the amount in one can of Red Bull. NFL players will be drinking it this season as part of a deal, but it releases to the public in February.
