Former college basketball player turned author JD Slajchert’s national letter writing project is inspired by the storyline of his new novel “Darling, You’re Not Alone” as it encourages everyone to hand-write notes to someone who made a difference in their life – and tell them (perhaps before it’s too late), they are thought of and appreciated.

Slajchert says for every dark moment, there must be an equal moment of light and hope.
