YouTube superstar Piper Rockelle sits on the BEONDTV couch with Carlos Amezcua and Lisa Remillard. Piper talks about her single “Treat Myself” and why she wants to make sure her fans are happy. Plus what she has planned for her future. And of course she talks about Frank, her dog.

She is an entrepreneur, a singer, a YouTube star; Piper Rockelle is here to talk about her new song
“Treat Myself”.
Welcome Piper nice to have you here. It’s fun to be part of the Piperazzi. Yeah. Tell me about the song.

Piper Rockelle:
So “Treat Myself” itself is a very nice song. You know, I do work a lot. I do a lot. And I feel like you really need to treat yourself sometimes.

BEONDTV:
Treat yourself, pampering yourself. And that’s kind of the theme of that. Yeah. The boys notice. (laughter)

BEONDTV:
What is the way? I mean? Because, look, if people don’t know you have millions of subscribers on YouTube, you have Tick Tock fans, you have Instagram fans. So you’re working. I mean, you are working, you’re doing your videos, you’re acting, you’re doing all of these things. So what do you do to treat yourself for real?

Piper Rockelle:
I really like to hang out with my family and I am a cat lover. So I love to hang out with my cats.

BEONDTV:
Oh, I love my cat. Carlos loves his cat.

Piper Rockelle:
We have a lot of cats. We have many. So, in Georgia, we actually have like 15.

BEONDTV:
Wow, wow, that’s a lot of cats. Do you have a Maine Coon?

Piper Rockelle: No, I want it!
BEONDTV:
Maine Coon cats are just like dogs. I love talking about cat. You couldn’t talk about cats quite a bit.

Piper Rockelle:
Me and my mom, we love cats so much that we want to this like kind of rundown town. It’s called Bombay Beach. And my friends and I we really help this town out. We saved like all the cats because there was like really bad cat problem. So you had a lot of kittens at once.

BEONDTV:
You have have such a good heart. That’s fantastic. I know you wanted to help out and do something good, right?

Piper Rockelle:
I’m trying to teach people you know?

BEONDTV:
Now I want to talk about your video cause you’ve got 4 million views. I just want to put this in perspective. Okay, she’s 4 million on this. CNN in one week has 2.2 million. Yeah. views? No, I realized on their TV channel. Yeah, she is a superstar online.
How does that happen, though? Like, I mean, that doesn’t happen overnight. You know. And I think there’s a lot of kids, young people out there that have a pretty good substantial following. But how do you get to the million mark? How did that happen?

Piper Rockelle:
I really don’t know how it happened. Like, I don’t even like really when people ask me like, do you feel famous? I’m like, No, I don’t I don’t know famous but like, I guess I kind of am. But I really don’t know how it happened. So I was like, I started on this app called MusicLy. And then I got featured and then I got crowned and then I went on to YouTube and then Instagram. And I guess just I like to connect with people. And I don’t know really, I don’t really know how it happened.

BEONDTV:
Who comes up with the themes for your videos, because that’s, that’s clever stuff. It’s all very well choreographed.

Piper Rockelle:
It’s usually my mom, or just our friends. We really all are like a family and we really help each other out with everything.

BEONDTV:
It’s perfectly done. Perfectly shot. And your editor buddy is great. He’s in all your videos!

Piper Rockelle:
Yes he is!

BEONDTV:
You get to see his arm in all your videos.

Piper Rockelle:
Have you seen my dog yet?

BEONDTV;
No, I haven’t gotten that far yet. What? You have a dog?

Piper Rockelle:
Yes. So his name is Frank. And so I don’t know, one day we were just like, you know, why don’t we put Frank in the vlogs.

BEONDTV:
And he started talking? Yeah, the dog did that? Yeah, the dog who talks? Yeah. That’s how you get 4 million views yet because you’re talking to him.

His name is Frank. And his name was like, after “Men in Black”. Oh, yes. So he started talking? And he makes fun of everyone. Like he’s kind of that like…

BEONDTV:
It’s a good schtick.

BEONDTV:
Let’s project projecting the future. You’re 12 years old now?

Piper Rockelle:
Yes.

BEONDTV:
Okay. 10 years, you’ll be 22 what do you see yourself doing when you’re 22?

Piper Rockelle:
I really want to be an actress and a singer. But I really want to like I want to make sure my family is involved with all of this. And I just I don’t want to just leave them. So I just hope to be a singer and I hope I can still spend time with my family.

BEONDTV:
Um, and what do you hope, that what do you hope that people younger people that watch your videos that they’re taking away from your videos? What do you want them to walk away with after they watch?

Piper Rockelle:
A smile, because I really want to make them laugh. Like that’s like my main goal. And that’s always been my main goal. Like I always wanted to be a YouTuber, a singer. And it’s finally happened and it’s crazy.

BEONDTV:

Piper Rockelle:
Even if I’m having like a bad day I really want to make other people that are having a bad day, have a good day. Right because like my intro is like “Shalom, guys!”. Hope it has been good but better watching this video. So like pretty good, but like I wanted to be better after this video.

BEONDTV:

I don’t know how I came up with that. Honestly, I don’t know, it came out of nowhere.
