The scam was interesting Goren says, because Bitcoin is traceable, unlike the U.S. dollar. He also explains security measures you should put in place if you are trading in cryptocurrency. And Goren cautions never send money to anyone without doing a bit of research!

Bitcoin also got a lot of publicity out of it. According to LUNARcrush.com there were over 500,000 social posts about crypto within 24 hours.
